No. Due to ANRM’s (formerly Atrisco Oil & Gas) registration with the SEC, the units may not be purchased, sold or divided.

In most cases, your heirs will need to present your original unit certificate and complete additional transfer paperwork, possibly including certified copies of wills, trusts or other probate documentation. Some of these documents may require a Medallion Signature Guarantee, acquired at the heirs’ bank or other financial institution.

As part of the 2006 merger agreement with SunCal Companies and Westland Development Co., Inc., Atrisco Oil & Gas LLC was formed to allow Westland’s former shareholders to receive a portion of income derived from any mineral interests recovered on the property. The issuance was done on a one for one basis. Unit holders receive the same number of units in Atrisco Oil & Gas (now ANRM) as owned in shares of Westland Development Co., Inc.
Your unit certificate could become valuable; therefore, you should keep it in a safe place. If it is damaged, destroyed or cannot be located, you could be required to purchase a bond to replace it.
